GRANTS FOR WELL DRILLING

Well drilling grants are available in certain circumstances from your local County Council. There are certain criteria which must be reached:

Your house must be more than 7 years old

You have not received a grant in the past 7 years

It is your primary residence

You have no mains water supply

The aim of the scheme is to help home owners cover the cost of new wells, upgrades and installing treatment systems. The grant can cover up to 75% of the total cost.
