WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR DRILLING A WELL?
An 8-10 inch hole is drilled until it hits rock and this is then lined with 6 inch steel casing to protect against surface contamination which also lines out unconsolidated surfaces like sand, gravel, clay etc.
Once this is achieved drilling progresses with 6 inch drill through the bedrock until satisfactory water yield is obtained.
5 inch well bore plastic is then inserted from top to bottom to protect the pump and well from any potential local collapse within the rock.
Once the well has been drilled Tim O Sullivan Well Drilling Ltd can then get you in contact with our pump installation company to complete the service.
At Tim O Sullivan Well Drilling Ltd, we are on hand to answer any questions you may have in relation to the service offered. We are fully C2 registered and insured to carry out all work.
